2014: page one hundred eighty-three

When B woke up this morning and I asked her what she wanted to do today, she said, "I just want to hang out with daddy." Oh, sweet girl! She was quite sad when I told her that he had to work today.

So, what did we do? Why we got dressed, hopped in the truck and visited daddy at work, of course! He had about a half an hour before he had to be on calls for the next 3 hours, so it worked out perfectly. Although, B was quite sad to have to leave. Their daddy-daughter relationship just warms my heart!

A trip to the plant store and a cheeseburger from McDonalds helped ease the sadness. :)

Another fun surprise for her was getting to play with the neighbor girl once we got home. Hattie is our next door neighbor who is 8 years old. She happened to be outside when we got home. B said hi to her and then went over to her. They played together for the next almost 2 hours until B had to take a nap. Hattie was so cute with her, playing with her and asking her what she wanted to do. And B loved her.

As soon as she woke up from her nap, B was asking for Hattie. Unfortunately, she wasn't outside at the time. Over and over B kept asking for her. Later in the evening, Hattie and a bunch of her family were all outside. B had a good time playing over there with them for quite a while until it was bed time.

The neighbors are going through their garage, so there was a lot of stuff to play with. :)
