Summertime!

It’s no secret that I love summer and this summer is no different…it has been fantastic! I’ve always loved summer for the warm weather, but the other great thing about summer is there is always a ton of fun things to do. Unfortunately, it always goes by so quickly. I won’t dwell on that yet. There is still much summer fun to be had!

Our Summer Highlights:
U2 concert (technically spring, but a great kick-off to summer)
Camping
Time in the mountains for some fishing on a few occasions
Outdoor birthday parties
Backyard barbeques
The Kenny Chesney concert with the sisters-in-law (saw Dana, too!)
River rafting down the Green River from Flaming Gorge
Our first rodeo
First burnout competition at the local car show
Golfing (well, to tell the truth, I just walked along with those golfing)
5K
Celebrated my Aunt Sonya’s 50th birthday
Pedicures and lunch with April
Lots of family time
Bees baseball game with my family

Still to come:
Dadda’s 60th birthday!
Church camping trip
Demolition Derby in Duchesne
Colorado to see a Rockies game and go to Six Flags with Brandon and Ashley (and maybe, just maybe, a Broncos game, now that there WILL be football this season…yeah!)
A trip to Fort Worth with Ryan (a working trip for him)
Our second anniversary at Red Canyon Lodge! (I guess that’s technically fall, but it signals the end of summer for me)
More birthday parties, trips to the mountains, camping, fishing, barbeques, etc

Oh, summer, you are wonderful! Please don't ever end. :)

Me, Ash, Crystal, and April at the Kenny Chesney concert. Yeehaw!

River rafting group. Such fun and so pretty!

The end of the rafting run.

Our wonderful river guide, Ryan. ;)

Jensen with the Bee. He was so excited to see the Bee!

At our first rodeo. :) (Ryan won't take normal pictures...ha ha)

Camping up Uintah Canyon. Ryan playing baseball with Jayla and Ahlyvia.
